2004 FEDERAL ELECTION: THE END OF A PERFECT STORM
The federal election race that ends on June 28 will
be our last of three chances in eight months to support
candidates for public office who actually understand the
value of Toronto arts and care about their health. (more)
ARTS TORONTO TRADEMARKS TO
TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL FOUNDATION (TACF)
Earlier this year, Arts Toronto transferred trademarks
for two of its signature programs—Toronto
ArtsWeek and Toronto
Arts Awards—TACF. These programs will assist TACF

than simple smart marketing. (more)
SOLUTIONS – MARCH GREGOROFF OF ARTISTS’
NETWORK OF RIVERDALE

available to visual artists in Toronto, March decided to
spearhead the Artists’
Network of Riverdale to develop a breadth of the kind
of services and opportunities she wanted to see. About to
officially launch the Network, she met with us at Hangman
Gallery on Queen East to tell us all about it. (more)
COALITION MEMBER’S MAIL BAG
I've read the recent email-newsletter. You've pointed out
some problems which are a hindrance to the continued success
of the Arts Council. However, I see ways to improve the
