TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL RECEIVES $400,000 INCREASE TO ITS CULTURAL GRANTS PROGRAM FROM TORONTO CITY COUNCIL

On February 28, Toronto City Council finalized its 2005 budget. Included in disbursements was an increase of $400,000 to TAC’s cultural grants program. (More)

ARTSWEEK 2005: SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 2

Planning has begun for ArtsWeek 2005, an annual, multidisciplinary festival of the arts in Toronto, produced by Toronto Arts Council Foundation. It is an opportunity for artists and the community to join together in recognizing the value of the arts for the city, its citizens, and its visitors. All artists and arts organizations are encouraged to participate – it’s a great way to increase exposure of your event and organization. (More)
