ARTSWEEK 2005: SEPTEMBER
22 – OCTOBER 2
Planning has begun for ArtsWeek 2005, an annual, multidisciplinary
festival of the arts in Toronto, produced by Toronto
Arts Council Foundation. It is an opportunity for artists
and the community to join together in recognizing the value
of the arts for the city, its citizens, and its visitors.
All artists and arts organizations are encouraged to participate
– it’s a great way to increase exposure of your
event and organization.
Artists and arts organizations can participate at no cost
– as long as you produce a public art event during
ArtsWeek’s 11-day run, we will promote your event
and organization through our ArtsWeek media campaign valued
at over $400,000. Don’t have anything scheduled for
that week? Consider doing something special – a tour,
open rehearsal, master class, lecture or seminar.
ArtsWeek 2005 will launch with a full day extravaganza
at the TD Centre Courtyard on Thursday, September 22. The
event will include exhibitions and performances from over
50 different local artists and organizations. Mark your
calendar and join us for a grand celebration of the arts.
