The Answer is YES, we will honour the November 2005 commitment to the arts. Our Heritage Critic has agreed to this on behalf of the party in a recent interview.

I appreciate and support the arts it is what helps define a nation and its people. Arts and Culture are vital if we are continue to grow as a community. As an MP I will do whatever I can to promote this vital sector and the people who work in it. I would love to sit down and discuss in greater detail some of the issues that face the cultural community and how I can help improve and enhance opportunities within this community.

I have already committed to showcasing works of art by local artists in my Constituency Office as well as in my communications to the riding. I believe that Canada has a vital role to play in the world and that Canadians have so much to offer it is time that our governments at every level recognized the talent and passion that our people have and let the world know.

Again I can not adequately express how supportive I am of the arts, you can count on me to be a passionate advocate of the arts in Ottawa and here in Etobicoke.
